Hyperfloc MG 655(anionic polyacrylamide) used for mine processing
For polymetalic processing,we norlmally use anionic polyacrylamide and nonionic polyacrylamide.it depend on the mineralization situation and confirm the optimum models according to the Jar test or site test.
Hyperfloc MG 655 is a kind of anionic polyacrylamide with lower hydrolysis degree and medium molecular weight and lower viscosity.
polyacrylamide is widely used as a flocculant or filter aid in mining minerals such as gold, silver, copper, aluminun, iron, tin, coal, lead, zinc. For this industry, the molecular weights of the anionic polymers will range from low to very high. These polymers are used to separate mineral particles of different sizes and densities and separate them from the water they are suspended in. Using PAM as flocculants or filter aids allow for improved settling and capture of recoverable product. Resulting in improved production efficiency, reduce failings loss. Bitumen tailings can be easily dewatered by flocculants to minimize the area required for tailings bonds.
2. In gold, silver or copper mining, as a settling agent added into thickener; when the PH value of ore-forming fluid is low(less than 4), such as lead and zinc fluid, PAM can be used as an additive to settlement etc.;
3. In aluminium, after the separation of sodium aluminate solution and red mud, used as an additive added in the washing process, so as to promote the fast settling of red mud particles and obtain required overflow.

During the aluminum processing through Bayer, sintering, the aluminum mineral are firstly grinded into 1mm size, then putting into strong sodium hydroxide by high-temperature and high pressure. The aluminum mineral can be dissolved in the high-caustic solution, and the silicon will be dissolved but other impurity remained.
After digestion the sand particles are removed with the slurry being settled in primary thickeners where the flocculants is added. This is a critical stage in achieving very clear overflow clarities. The underflow, or red mud, then passes to a counter current decantation process where further alumina from the liquor is recovered via a series of washer decanters. Again flocculants is used here to promote settling and acceptable overflow clarities.
The pregnant liquor from the primary thickeners is filtered, then cooled (taking up to 48 hours) and seeded with alumina hydrate to promote precipitation of alumina trihydrate. This is then filtered and washed finally calcined to produce alumina.
2Gold / silver
To join in the mineral water and lime, through further grinding mill, In the next step for settling thickener, this stage using anionic polyacrylamide, promote the rapid settling of solid, the substrate through a series of filter tank for filtering.
Anionic polyacrylamide flocculant is added in in front of the filtration thickener.
After the coal is exploited, it is usually mixed with other kinds of waste. Firstly, they are separated according to their different gravity in water, the coal is suspended, and the waste gets down.
In the following process, by using flotation agent, the fine coal particle and the waste are further separated. Fine coal floats and the waste is down.
Then the fine coal is refined from the waste by sedimentation, filtration or centrifugation. CHINAFLOC is used in the process of sedimentation, promoting the separation of solid and liquid, and then the clean water is recycled back from the overflow by the thickener, the fine coal particle is generated after filtration and centrifugation. CHINAFLOC is used again in the process of filtration and centrifugation to improve the efficiency of separation.
4、Lead and zinc
During the zinc processing, the ore becomes zinc oxide after calcining. Then the oxide will be filtrated by using sulphuric acid. The neutral filtrate (PH value is 5) and the acid filtrate (PH value is 2.5) can make all the mineral dissolve in the sulphuric acid.
During the lead/zinc processing, by using anionic flocculants, it can accelerate the mineral sedimentation and the filtrate clarification, improve the output and decrease the loss.
The slurry or tailings from the flotation cells reports to a thickener where flocculants is added to promote rapid sedimentation and generation of a clear overflow, which returns to the process water circuit. The remaining concentrated tailings will into the centrifugal dewatering, the anionic polyacrylamide flocculant will be added as centrifugal additives.
The bubble (with copper) is removed from the overflow by mechanical method and is then thickened and dewatered where flocculants are used to improve the sedimentation and filtration rates. The resultant concentrate or cake contains approximately 25 to 35% copper, which is then recovered by pyrometallurgical processing.
Application of concentrate and flotation tailings settling products ：
In the "wet" process from earth ore in the process of extraction nickel, The resulting slurry water, adding PAM can get quick mud separation effect；
Phosphate tailing treatment is usually through the use of thickener settlement .Phosphate tailing particles are very small, so choose a suitable flocculant is particularly important.
Usage and dosage:
The concentration of the solution of Hyperfloc MG 655 works best at 0.1 - 0.5%. Prepare solutions by stirring for one hour. Filter the solution after a hour with a 40 mesh sieve. Post dilute with water before application.
