Cationic polyacrylamide emulsion can be divided into two types of water-in-water and oil-in-water according to the polymerization process. Its main raw materials are acrylamide and cationic quaternary ammonium salt monomer, which is polymerized through emulsifier, initiator, demulsifier and other additives. The effective content of water-in-water emulsion is low, generally 15% to 20%, and the effective content of oil-in-water emulsion is as high as about 40%, so oil-in-water polyacrylamide emulsion is higher than water-in-water emulsion.
Cationic polyacrylamide emulsion according to the ionic degree of differentiation, generally can be divided into 20, 40, 60 and 80 degrees of ion, the higher the degree of ion, the more cationic monomer contained, the higher the price. The higher the ionic degree is, the better the treatment effect is on the wastewater with high organic matter content. For different waste water, we can choose the type to determine the more suitable ionic degree and improve the cost performance.
Cationic polyacrylamide emulsion is also an important indicator according to molecular weight, generally divided into high molecular weight, high molecular weight and low molecular weight products. Because different dehydration equipment requires different flocculation effect, such as centrifuge need to choose high molecular weight products, belt filter press and screw machine need to choose high molecular weight products, plate and frame filter press choose low molecular weight products.
Cationic polyacrylamide emulsion is characterized by fast dissolution rate, high ionic degree, suitable for rapid site construction. Mainly used in sewage flocculation precipitation, sludge dehydration, paper retention aid, fracturing acidifying thickener and thickener and other industries.
