Chinafloc A2520
(Anionic polyacrylamide)
Description Chinafloc A2520 is a very high molecular weight anionic polyacrylamide flocculant supplied as a granular powder.
Principal uses Chinafloc A2520 has found application in a wide variety including the following:
A.Bored pile
B.Mineral processing
C.Industrial wastewater treatment
D.Oil drilling
Typical properties Physical form Off-white granular powder
Particle size 98 % <850 μm
Molecular Weight 20-22 million
Hydrolysis Degree 25-30 %
PH of 1% solution at 25 °C 4-8
Viscosity at 25 °C See solution viscosity date
Application & Storage Recommended solution concentrations:
Stock solution: 0.2-0.5%
Feed solution: 0.05-0.1%
Shelf life 2years
Stock solution 1–2 days
Storage of polymer should be in cool and dry place

Shipping & Handling Chinafloc A2520 is supplied in 25 kg nett plastic bags shrinkwrapped onto a pallet suitable for export shipment. The product can also be supplied via intermediate big bags or bulk tanker. Specific details of bag and tanker sizescan be obtained on request. Corrosivity towards most standard materials of construction is low, butaluminium and galvanised equipment should be avoided.
Technical Service Advice and assistance in the running of laboratory and plant tests to select the correct product and determine the best application can be provided by representatives of Chinafloc, who are experienced in chinafloc A2520 application
Health & safety Chinafloc A2520 has a low order of oral toxicity and does not present anyabnormal handling problems.
